Endosc-HP® Rapid Urease Test is an in vitro diagnostic, qualitative assay for direct detection of Helicobacter pylori infection from gastric mucosal biopsy specimens during endoscopy. The test provides results within minutes to enable immediate clinical decision-making and is designed for simple use in endoscopy suites without the need for complex laboratory equipment. The test format is a twin-well cartridge containing urea, phenol red and buffer salts in tablet form with a supplied buffer ampoule; a pH-driven colour change indicates presence of H. pylori urease activity. The product is supplied as a ready-to-use kit in a 4 test pack (1 each CAMBU1021) and stores at room temperature.
