| The Leica DM6 B is an automated upright microscope with constant color temperature and automated features that can include transmitted light- and fluorescence, motorized Z-focus or motorized nosepiece. The Illumination Manager automatically sets the optimal settings for best image quality plus fast and reproducible results. The automated condenser head ensures more convenient and faster work. Changing contrast methods is made easy with the Leica Contrast Manager – the appropriate adjustment is set automatically by a touch of a button. The microscope has the ability to use the world’s first, fully automated, Differential Interference Contrast (DIC) for excellent image quality without time-consuming adjustments. Leica Microsystems unique, patented Fluorescence Intensity Manager enables fast, precise, and reproducible settings of fluorescence light intensity. All automated microscope functions can be conveniently and intuitively controlled via the Leica SmartTouch touchscreen. Programmable function keys allow customized and ergonomic operation of the microscope.
